The project scope involves the renovation of an approximately 2400 sq. ft. live/ work studio within an Artist Cooperative in Emeryville, California. Located at the center of a converted industrial warehouse, the existing live/ work studio has two levels. The first level is programmed primarily for work/ communal use and the second floor is designated as the private residence of the owners. The program involves the reorganization and renovation of the living spaces for better circulation, light and privacy and the layout of work spaces and the living/ showcase spaces of the lower level.
