SHCP DEPAUL LOBBY- w/ INTERSTICE ARCHITECTS. 2021
The Sacred Heart Cathedral Preparatory school of San Francisco asked INTERSTICE architects to renovate the DePaul Lobby which serves as the main congregation point for the Arts and Humanities campus. Previously, this cold and open aired lobby served primarily as a security checkpoint and as a pass-through space for students on their way to the campus across the street. Upon renovation, the lobby has been transformed into a welcoming space for students to gather, study and exhibit their artwork. The space also serves as a information center for parents, students and teachers and as the primary lobby for the adjacent performance theatre.
My involvement in the project has been the iterative design of the interior space in response to the school’s needs, production of construction documents, coordination of the trades and oversight of construction through the completion of the project.
