MYRTLE BARKLET- w/ INTERSTICE ARCHITECTS. 2021
This new urban parklet converts three street parking spots into a 9 ft. wide by 60 ft. long dog park. Located within the concrete jungle of the Tenderloin neighborhood of San Francisco, this narrow yet interactive park will bring relief from the hectic surroundings and give local dog owners a space to let their pets play and interact with other canines in a protected space.
My time on the project has been used developing design iterations, architectural renderings, and the construction of a full-scale mock-up that our team installed during the annual Park(ing) Day in September 2021.
